Working with and for schools in both the public, private, catholic and independent sectors to further support secondary students in their efforts to transition into career and education pathways has proven very successful for all stakeholders since inception in 2003. Cairns Training Academy strives to provide all interested secondary students the opportunity to gain an industry standard qualification during their final years of school.

This training initiative has resulted in Cairns Training Academy being recognised as a leading RTO as demonstrated by our Queensland Training Award Accolades for ‘Skilling for the Future Award’ in 2005, 2008 and 2010.

Not only is VETiS recognised for enhancing career pathways and employment opportunities; students enrolled from 2019 will benefit from a Certificate lll VETiS qualification contributing to their ATAR.
